HM The King Wraps Up Visit To Oujda

HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, left Oujda on Friday, following a visit to the city during which the sovereign inaugurated several social far-reaching projects.

HM the King had inaugurated, on Wednesday, the Mohammed VI University Hospital of Oujda which mirrors the monarch's unwavering will to make the promotion of the health sector one of Morocco's large-scale projects. 

HM the King, Commander of the Faithful, chaired on, Thursday at the "Mohammed VI Mosque", the sixth religious lecture of the series of the Hassanian lectures of the holy month of Ramadan, before presiding over a religious ceremony, in the same mosque, to commemorate Laylat Al Qadr (26th day of Ramadan).

The sovereign performed the Friday prayer at the Ryad Mosque, before laying the foundation stone of the Hassan II center for hemodialysis and prevention of chronic kidney diseases, handing medical equipment to basic health centers in the region and inaugurating the "Mohammed VI Theater" of Oujda.

At the Oujda Angad airport, HM the King was seen off by wali of the eastern region, governor of the Oujda Angad prefecture Mohamed Mhidia, president of the region's council Ali Belhaj, elected members as well as representatives of civilian and military authorities.
