Here Follows the statement of the Royal Office:
HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), received, today at the Rabat Royal Palace, Lieutenant-General Bouchaib Arroub and Lieutenant-General Hosni Benslimane, as well as major general Mohamed Haramou.
On this occasion, HM the King thanked generals Bouchaib Arroub and Hosni Benslimane for their services for the Nation.
HM the King had appointed Lieutenant-General Abdelfatah Louarak as inspector general of the Royal Armed Forces, instead of general Bouchaib Arroub, former FAR inspector general and commander of the southern zone.
During today's audience, the sovereign appointed as commander of the royal gendarmerie major general Mohamed Haramou, current commander of the royal gendarmerie's honour squadron grouping.
Generals Arroub and Benslimane conducted their respective careers, under the command of late HM Hassan II and HM King Mohammed VI, with an elevated sense of devotion and loyalty to serve the higher interests of the Nation, and a complete abnegation in fulfling their missions.
At the end of the audience, HM the King awarded generals Bouchaib Arroub and Hosni Benslimane the Wissam Al Arsh Grand Sash.
