Here follows a statement by the royal office.
"HM King Mohammed VI chaired, today at the Royal Palace of Rabat, a working session on the program of upgrading the vocational training offer and renovation of options and pedagogical methods.
This working session follows two previous meetings on the vocational training sector, which benefits from an unwavering royal solicitude as a strategic lever of competitiveness and a promising way for the professional integration of young people.
The Sovereign called for a realistic approach that rigorously sets priorities according to the needs of the national economy and the labor market, and the social expectations and aspirations of Moroccans.
This upgrading program, which is under finalization and is elaborated in accordance with the royal guidelines, will be presented at the next and final meeting of the Commission.
This working session was attended by Saad Dine El Otmani, Head of Government, Omar Azzimane, HM the King's Advisor, President of the Higher Council of Education, Training and Scientific Research, Fouad Ali El Himma, HM the King's Advisor, Abdelouafi Laftit, Interior Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture, Saïd Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Minister of Industry, Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Transport, Anas Doukkali, Minister of Health, Mohamed Sajid, Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Yatim, Minister of Employment and Professional Integration, and Loubna Tricha, Director General of the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) ".
