Benkirane conveys message from HM the King to Mauritanian president

Mauritanian president Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz received, Wednesday at the presidential palace in Nouakchott, the head of Moroccan government, Abdelilah Benkirane, who handed him a message from HM King Mohammed VI.

The audience was "an opportunity to submit to his Excellency the president a message from his brother HM King Mohammed VI, with an invitation to visit Morocco," Benkirane told the press.

     The head of government is visiting Nouakchott leading the Moroccan delegation to the 7th high Joint Committee.

    He said he had told the president of Mauritania that relations between the two brotherly countries are marked by clarity, frankness and the spirit of true cooperation, noting that Ould Abdelaziz shares the same vision.

    Benkirane said that problems that might arise would be resolved "in a fraternal way."

    The audience was attended, on the Mauritanian side, by Prime Minister Moulay Ould Mohamed Laghdhaf, Foreign Minister Hamadi Ould Baba Ould Hamadi, and the head of the President of the Republic's office.

    On the Moroccan side, the meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Saad Dine El Otmani and ambassador of the Kingdom in Nouakchott, Abderrahmane Benomar.
