On the occasion of the legislative elections scheduled for September 23, public administrations, establishments, and businesses, as well as local government councils, have been called upon to grant facilities to executives, civil servants, and employees so that they may fulfill their national duty and exercise their right to vote.
In line with Circular No. 2026/14 issued by the Head of Government on September 1, 2026, heads of public administrations, director-generals and directors of public establishments and enterprises, and presidents of local government councils are called upon to grant the necessary facilities to all executives, civil servants, and employees across various public services and administrations, the Head of Government's office said in a statement, adding the goal is to enable them to fulfill their national duty and exercise their right to vote during these elections, without disrupting the normal operation of public services.
In the same vein and to uphold the values of citizenship, the Head of Government calls on all private sector business leaders to take the necessary measures to allow their executives and employees to exercise their right to vote on election day, the same source concluded.
