FAR Detachment Takes Part in Côte d'Ivoire's 65th Independence Day Anniversary

On High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, a FAR detachment took part in the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of Côte d'Ivoire's independence, following an invitation extended to Morocco.

The FAR detachment, part of the 1st Parachute Infantry Brigade, took part in the military parade in Bouaké on Thursday, commemorating the national independence day, alongside the Ivorian Armed Forces, according to a press release from the FAR General Staff.

The FAR's participation in these celebrations testifies to the strong and excellent relations of friendship and brotherhood that bind the two countries, particularly in the military field, the same source added.

As part of its policy of solidarity with African countries, the Kingdom is committed to supporting its partners and wishes to share their joy on the occasion of significant commemorations.
