GCC Stresses Importance of its Strategic Partnership with Morocco

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) stresses Sunday in Riyadh the importance of its strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco.

"The Council underlines the importance of cooperation and partnership with sister and friendly countries, including Jordan and Morocco," the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council said in the final statement following its 39th meeting in Riyadh.

The Council also underscored the importance of relations of cooperation and partnership with the United States of America, the United Kingdom, China, France, Russia, the European Union, the African Union and other sister and friendly countries, in addition to regional and international organizations.

According to the statement, the Supreme Council called on the GCC Secretariat General "to complete the implementation of joint action plans and agreements at the working groups and joint committees set up for this purpose, in order to strengthen trade and investment between GCC member states and these countries and organizations".
