S.A. la Princesa Lalla Zineb preside en Rabat la firma de un convenio para apoyar el programa estratégico de la Liga Marroquí para la Protección de la Infancia

Her Highness Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for Child Protection, received, on Wednesday in Rabat, the minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, Naima Ben Yahia, on the sidelines of her visit to the Lalla Meriam center for children without family protection.

During this audience, discussions were focused on the means of further developing bilateral cooperation mechanisms in fields of mutual interest such as support for the program to care for children in difficult situations in various reception centers and the League's social support and integration program in different regions of the Kingdom, according to a press release from the Moroccan League for Child Protection.

At the end of the meeting, Her Highness Princess Lalla Zineb and Ben Yahia signed a partnership agreement to consolidate achievements and contribute to the achievement of defined objectives aimed at preserving the rights of children in general and vulnerable children in particular.

On this occasion, Her Highness Princess Lalla Zineb emphasized that strengthening cooperation ties with the ministry of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family forms part of a comprehensive multisectoral approach to support vulnerable children, in line with the enlightened Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, calling to extend social projects and improve the living conditions of the target population.

For her part, Ben Yahya praised the actions conducted by the League for vulnerable children and women in difficult situations, reiterating her department’s commitment to contributing to the strengthening of cooperation ties for the exchange of expertise, good practices, training, support and social integration of the target groups, mainly children without family protection with special needs.

The League’s 2025-2030 strategic program expects to establish 10 new centers for children deprived of a family environment by 2030, in order to increase capacity and the number of beneficiaries.
