
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, Sunday afternoon at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park in El Jadida, the award ceremony of HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix in show jumping, organized as part of the final of the 14th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour CSI 4*W, an international competition held within the framework of the 16th edition of the Horse Show.
Upon his arrival at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, President of the Horse Show Association, before reviewing a detachment of the Royal Guard that rendered honors.
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was then greeted by the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mohamed Saad Berrada, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari, the President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, Fayçal Laraichi, the Wali of the Casablanca-Settat region, Governor of the Casablanca prefecture, Mohamed Mhidia, the President of the Regional Council, Abdellatif Maâzouz, and the Governor of the Province of El Jadida, Mhamed Atfaoui.
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was also greeted by the President of the Commune of Haouzia and members of the Board of Directors of the Horse Show Association.
Subsequently, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan proceeded to Arena A of the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park and headed for the VIP stand from where His Royal Highness attended the events of HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix, won by Irish rider Tim Brennan riding "Diadema Della Caccia" at the end of the second round, which saw the participation of 11 riders representing 9 countries, namely Morocco, Ireland, Egypt, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Poland.
Following this competition, organized under the aegis of the International Equestrian Federation and the Royal Moroccan Federation for Equestrian Sports, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presented the Grand Prix to the winner.
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan also presented prizes to the four riders who took the following places in the ranking, namely in order: Moroccan El Ghali Boukaa riding "A Kyss", Egyptian Mouda Zeyada riding "If Looks Could Kill O.H", Portuguese Molly Hughes Bravo riding "Hhs Tokyo", and Dutch Mans Thijssen riding "Joviality".
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan then posed for a souvenir photo with the prize-winning riders.
The Morocco Royal Tour is a landmark event on the international equestrian calendar. It is an international show jumping circuit held in three stages in three different cities: Tetouan (September 18-21), Rabat (September 24-28), and El Jadida (October 02-05).
The 3rd stage of the 14th Morocco Royal Tour featured riders representing 17 nations, namely Morocco, Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates.
The 16th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show was held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI from September 29 to October 05, under the theme "Horse Welfare, a Link Between Equestrian Practices."
