SAR la Princesa Lalla Hasnaa participa en Abu Dabi en una recepción ofrecida en honor de las altas personalidades que participan en el Congreso Mundial de la Naturaleza de la UICN


 Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, attended on Thursday in Abu Dhabi a reception held in honor of the senior personalities taking part in the World Conservation Congress organized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

During the reception, Her Royal Highness met with Amna Al Dhahak Al Shamsi, UAE Minister of Climate Change and the Environment; Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri Secretary General of the Environment Agency  – Abu Dhabi; Razan Al Mubarak, IUCN President; Astrid Schomaker, Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity; Musonda Mumba, Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands; Grethel Aguilar, Director General of the IUCN; and Patricia Ricard, Chair of the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute. 

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa also met HRH Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Crown Prince of the State of Pahang (Malaysia); Achim Steiner, former Administrator of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP); David Obura, Founding Director of CORDIO East Africa and chair of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES); Marco Lambertini, Convener of the Nature Positive Initiative; Francisca Cortes Solari, President of Solari Foundation; Antonio Herman Benjamin, President of the Superior Court of Justice of Brazil and former President of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law, and Amy Fraenkel, Executive Secretary of the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS).

Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, had previously taken part, as guest of honor, in the World Conservation Congress of the International Union for Conservation of Nature at the National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi.
