ISESCO's DG Lauds HM the King's Initiative to Contribute to Restoration of Some Areas of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Director general of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, lauded the initiative of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to give a grant, as Morocco's contribution, to the restoration and development of some areas inside the Al-Aqsa holy mosque and its vicinity.

This generous initiative, which will be carried out in coordination with the Administration of Islamic Awqaf of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, reflects the great interest of the Sovereign in Al-Quds Asharif and the defense of its historical identity, Altwajri said in a statement.

This initiative also testifies to HM the King's support for the population of this holy city, he added, recalling the difficult situation that Al-Quds is currently going through, particularly Israel's judaization attempts.
