Minister of Justice Mohamed Aujjar and Australia's Ambassador to Morocco Berenice Owen Jones discussed, Monday in Rabat, means to promote bilateral relations in the legal sector.

This meeting was an opportunity to inform Owen Jones about the far-reaching reforms that have been carried out in Morocco in the different fields, said on Wednesday the Ministry of Justice in a statement.

During this meeting, the two parties underscored the importance of reinforcing bilateral cooperation, notably in the fields of human rights and migration, highlighting the Kingdom's political stability and its internationally-recognized counterterrorism efforts, the same resource added.

The Australian diplomat lauded the Moroccan experience in terms of fighting terrorism, highlighting her country's support for promoting relations between Australia and Morocco, as well as the promising prospects for developing these relations in all areas.
