Morocco Condemns Recent Terrorist Attacks In Egypt

Morocco condemned the recent terror blasts in Egypt as "horrendous terrorist acts" that are contrary to religious and human values and to the principles of peaceful co-existence.

Morocco "is deeply concerned by the series of terrorist attacks" that occurred these last two days in Egypt against security and cultural administrations and some districts of Cairo, killing several people and injuring others, says a release of the Moroccan ministry of foreign affairs and cooperation.

Morocco, which offers its heartfelt condolences and expresses sympathy and solidarity with those wounded, reiterates its support to Egypt to face the plague of terrorism and all types of threats against its stability and security, the release says.

"Morocco condemns these horrendous terrorist acts that are "contrary to religious and human values and to the principles of peaceful co-existence" and attempt to jeopardize the ongoing democratic transition in Egypt.
