Morocco's Central Bank Maintains Key Rate at 2.25%
The Board of Bank Al-Maghrib (Morocco’s central bank) decided, on Tuesday, to keep its key rate unchanged at 2.25 percent.
After analysing recent economic developments and the macroeconomic forecasts prepared by the Bank for the next eight quarters, the Board considered that the current level of 2.25 percent for the key rate remains "appropriate" and decided to keep it unchanged, the Bank said in a statement issued following the third quarterly meeting of its Board.
