The "Index Saudi Arabia 2025" Design and Furniture Exhibition opened on Tuesday in Riyadh, featuring exhibitors and institutions from around forty countries, including Morocco.
The Kingdom is represented at this three-day event by a significant delegation led by the Secretary of State in charge of Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Lahcen Essaadi.
A dedicated pavilion has been set up for the occasion at the initiative of the Maison de l'Artisan (House of Handicrafts), in partnership with the Embassy of Morocco in Riyadh. The pavilion embodies the excellence and diversity of Moroccan craftsmanship and highlights the efforts made to promote this heritage and its ancestral trades on the international stage, particularly in the Middle East and Gulf region. It also supports exhibitors and introduces the richness and variety of Moroccan artisanal heritage to foreign professionals and visitors.
Spanning 234 square meters, the pavilion brings together Moroccan companies operating in various sectors, especially furniture, interior decoration, carpet making, pottery, perfumery, and stone and marble carving.
This space offers an opportunity to showcase the latest innovations and creations by Moroccan artisans, to develop new prospects for partnerships and commercialization, and to promote the richness of this national heritage.
National exhibitors will also have the chance to explore the latest global trends presented during this event, which serves as a strategic platform for direct business meetings between producers, buyers, architects, and industry stakeholders, and to promote Moroccan artisanal products.
The "Index Saudi Arabia" exhibition, which covers more than 20,500 square meters, attracts over 17,000 professional buyers and 400 exhibitors from around forty countries each year.
