Consultas para la formación del Gobierno: el Buró Político de la UC encomienda al SG dirigir las consultas con la jefa de Gobierno designada

The Political Bureau of the Constitutional Union (UC) has decided, by unanimous vote of its members, to mandate Party’s Secretary-General Mohamed Joudar to lead talks with Head of Government-designate Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri.

The Political Bureau also decided to grant the Secretary-General full authority to make whatever decisions appropriate, in order to preserve the party’s standing and serve the nation’s best interests.

In a press relese issued following the meeting of its Political Bureau, held Saturday in Casablanca and attended by ts members of parliament elected in the legislative elections of September 23, 2026, the UC affirmed its “positive commitment to the consultation process.”

The party specified that its position for the next stage will be determined by the alignment of political platforms and the ability to meet citizens’ expectations, particularly regarding the preservation of purchasing power, employment, and strengthening the welfare state.

The Political Bureau emphasized that the results achieved by the Constitutional Union “demonstrate the party’s steadfast presence in the national political landscape,” noting that the UC’s ambition “remains greater, commensurate with its history and its base of activists.”

The party called on its members to further efforts and strengthen ties with citizens in preparation for upcoming elections.

Following praise for the strong mobilization of the party’s structures and members throughout the election campaign, the UC Political Bureau called for leveraging this momentum to bolster the party’s organization and broaden its base.
