HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa Chairs in Temara Inauguration Ceremony of 'Massira II' Urban Health Centre After Renovation

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, honorary president of the Association for Human Development "Hassanate", chaired, on Monday in Temara, the inauguration ceremony of the "Massira II" Urban Health Centre, under the Skhirat-Temara prefecture health delegation, after its renovation works.

After been given details on the center's activities, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa visited the different areas dedicated to receive and provide health care for patients.

The revamping of the "Massira II" center is part of the Hassanate's objectives related to improving basic services in terms of health and education.

It aims to bring healthcare centers in line with the standards in force, ameliorate the reception of patients, create a facility for maternal and child health and dedicate a room to education and prevention workshops.

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa attended afterwards the launch of the awareness-raising documentary that will be played on TV screens in the center's waiting rooms to encourage patients to preserve their renovated building.

Explanations were given to HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa on the "Mother and Child Department" which includes an integrated care room for mothers and children under five, a vaccination room, a room for family planning and high-risk pregnancies, and a pharmacy.

The renovation of the said Center have helped to upgrade the buildings, re-develop outdoor areas and renew office furniture, computers and electronic equipment.

On this occasion, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa chaired the signing ceremony of two partnership agreements. The first, signed by Dounia Benyaich, President of the Human Development Association "Hassanate" and Ilias El Fali, Executive Director of OCP Group Industrial Operations, focuses on the renovation of four health centers in the province El Jadida, namely in the communes of Sidi Abed, Moulay Abdallah and Oulad Hssein, as well as the Bouchrit diagnosis center.

The second agreement, signed by Dounia Benyaich and Driss El Ouazzani, Director General of Redal, aims to contribute to the upgrading of health centers managed by the "Hassanate" association.

The association has been involved since 2009 in carrying out social actions to enhance access to basic services and infrastructure like education and health.

Upon her arrival at the "Massira II" Center, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa reviewed a detachment of the Auxiliary Forces that paid the honors and was greeted mainly by the Minister of National Education, the Minister of Health, the United Arab Emirates Ambassador in Rabat, and the Wali, National Coordinator of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
