HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Chairwoman of Mohammed VI Foundation for Environment Protection, Chairs Inauguration Ceremony of Hassan II International Environmental Training Center

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Chairwoman of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environment Protection, chaired Tuesday in Bouknadel, near Salé, the inauguration ceremony of the Hassan II International Center for environmental training.

After unveiling the commemorative plaque for the inauguration of the new center, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa was given explanations on the Center’s activities.

Afterwards, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa visited different areas of the new center as well as the environmental facilities at the outer part of the Center.

At the end of this ceremony, Her Royal Highness posed for a souvenir photo with schoolchildren and members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

On her arrival at the Hassan II International Environmental Training Center, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa was greeted notably by Deputy President of the Foundation, Lahoucine Tijani, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Said Amzazi, Secretary of State for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Khalid Samadi, Secretary of State for Sustainable Development Nezha El Ouafi, Japan’s ambassador to Morocco, Takuji Hanatani, and Chinese ambassador to Rabat, Li Li.

The creation of the Hassan II International Center for Environmental Training is entirely dedicated to raising awareness and environmental education among children, civil society, businesses, administrations and local authorities.

It is the culmination of 18 years of the commitment of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, the Foundation and its partners since its creation in 2001.
