HM The King Chairs In Casablanca Reception On Occasion Of Throne Day

 HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH crown prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH prince Moulay Rachid, in the presence of Senegalese president Macky Sall, chaired, on Tuesday in Casablanca royal palace, a reception on the occasion of the 14 anniversary of the sovereign's accession to throne of his glorious ancestors.

The sovereign was greeted by several Moroccan and foreign figures who came to extend their congratulations to HM the King on this occasion.

 HM the King was greeted by Nimaga Ismaila, Ambassador of the Central African Republic, dean of the African diplomatic corps accredited to Rabat, Bertrand Louis, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, interim dean of the European diplomatic corps, Abu Bakr Mohamed Hafni Mahmoud, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, interim dean of the Arab diplomatic Corps, Carlos Charme Silva, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile, interim dean of the American diplomatic corps acting and Toshinori Yanagiya, Ambassador of Japan, dean of the Asian diplomatic corps.

 The Sovereign was afterwards greeted by Abdelillah Benkirane, Head of Government, Karim Ghellab, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah, Speaker of the House of Advisors and Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs. 

 HM the King was also greeted by Lieutenant General Abdelaziz Bennani, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), Lieutenant General Hosni Benslimane, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Lieutenant General Bouchaib Arroub, head of the third office, Divisional General Ahmed Boutaleb, Inspector of the Royal Air Forces, Brigadier General Mohamed Laghmari, inspector of the Royal Navy, Brigadier General Haddou Hajjar, Inspector of the Auxiliary Forces (Northern Zone), Brigadier General Lahcen Imjane, Inspector of the Auxiliary Forces (Southern Zone),  Bouchaib Rmil, Director General of the Police, Mohammed Yassine Mansouri, Director General of Intelligence Agency, Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of Territorial Surveillance and Mohamed Moussaoui, president of the French Muslim council.

 The sovereign was also greeted by His Grace Vincent Lamdel, archbishop of Rabat, Pastor Samuel Amedro, president of the Evangelical Church in Morocco, Maxim Massalitin, President of the Russian Orthodox Church, and Yossef Israel, Grand Rabbi of Casablanca.

 On this occasion, HM the King awarded royal wissams to several Moroccan and foreign figures.

 The sovereign granted the Alawite wissam of exceptional rank to Mohamed Sbihi, teacher of Arabic language at the royal school and to the Grand Rabbi Raz Shlomo Amar.

 The sovereign also awarded the Wissam of Al Moukafaa Al Watania of the rank of top officer to the members of the high commission of the national dialogue on the reform of the judiciary: Mustapha Ramid, Minister of Justice, Mustapha Fares, First President of the Court of Cassation, Mustapha Meddah, Attorney General at the Court of Cassation, Achergui Mohamed, President of the Constitutional Council, Driss Jettou, President of the Revenue Court, Chakib Benmoussa, President of the Economic, social and Environmental Council and Ambassador of His Majesty the King to Paris, who could not attend the event as he was chairing the Throne day's celebrations in Paris.

 There are also Mohamed Yessef, Secretary General of the Higher Council of Ulema, Driss El Yazami, President of the National Council for Human Rights, Abdelaziz Benzakour, President of the Ombudsman Institution, Amina Lamrini El Ouahabi, President of the Superior Council of Audiovisual Communication, Abdelali Benamour, President of the Competition Council, Abdeslam Aboudrar, President of the Commission for the fight against corruption, Ahmed Boukous, Rector of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture, Abdellatif Jouahri, Wali of Bank Al Maghrib, Mohamed Idrissi Alami Machichi, former Minister of Justice, university professor, Meriem Bensalah Chaqroun, President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises, and Mohamed Hanine, President of the Committee of Justice, Legislation and Human Rights at the House representatives.

 The same wissam was also granted to Adkhil Omar, President of the Committee of Justice, Legislation and Human Rights in the House of advisors, Rahma Bourkya, former president of the University Hassan II of Mohammedia, Abdelmajid Ghmija, Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice and Liberties, Benalilou Mohamed, Head of the office of the Justice Minister, Criminal Policy Advisor, Mohamed Said Bennani, former Director General of the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, Abdullah Hamoud , Inspector General of the Department of Justice and Liberties, Ibrahim Al Ayssar, Director of Civil Affairs at the Ministry of Justice and Liberties, Mohamed Abdennabaoui, Director of criminal Affairs at the Ministry of Justice and Liberties, Najia Rahali, Director of Studies, Cooperation and Modernization at the Department of Justice and Liberties, and Rajae Naji Mekkaoui, University Professor. 

 There are also Zineb Talbi, President of Chamber at the Court of Cassation, who could not attend for health reasons, Leila El Mrini, President of Chamber at the Court of Cassation, member of the Constitutional Council, Zineb El Adaoui, President of the regional court of revenue in Rabat, Rabha Zedgui, Member of the Higher audiovisual Council, Abdelhak Ayyassi, President of the Hassania Association for Magistrates, Abderrahim Jamai, former president of Bar, representative of the Moroccan Observatory for Prisons, Abdellatif El Hatimi, President of the Moroccan Association for the Defense of the independence of the judiciary, Abdelaziz Nouidi, lawyer, former president of the Adala Association, Mustapha Hilmi, Director in charge of social and cultural Action at the General Delegation of penitentiary administration and Rehabilitation, Mohamed Echahbi, former president of the Bar of Casablanca, Jamal Eddine Naji, General Coordinator of the national Dialogue on Media and Society, and Mohamed Hourani, former president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises.

 The sovereign gave the Alawite wissam of top officer rank to Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice president of the Conference of Major American Jewish Organizations, and the Wissam of Al Arch of second class (Commander), to late  Mohamed Taieb Naciri, lawyer and former minister of justice, a decoration granted to his son Omar Naciri, late Assia El Ouadie, former member of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners, a decoration granted to her son Youssef Chahbi and his brother Salah El Ouadie, late Mohamed Idrissi Kaitouni, former director of the "L'Opinion" paper, a decoration granted to his son Ismail Idrissi Kaitouni. 

 The sovereign gave the Alawite wissam of officer rank to Amani Abou-Zeid, resident representative of the African Development Bank in Morocco and the Wissam of Al Arch of third class (officer) to Amina Bouayach, association actor, Yasmina Bouziane, communication expert at the UN, Meryem Chadid, professor of astronomy and the first Moroccan woman to set foot on the Antarctic, Nezha Hayat, director of a bank and Mohamed Bouanani, poet and journalist.
