HM the King Extends Condolences To Family of Late Béchir Ben Yahmed, Founder of "Jeune Afrique"
HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of the founder of magazine "Jeune Afrique", Bashir Ben Yahmed, who passed away on Monday in Paris.
In this message, the Sovereign said he learnt with great sorrow the demise of journalist Bashir Ben Yahmed, praying the Almighty to welcome him in His vast paradise among the virtuous ones.
On this painful occasion, HM the King expressed to the members of the deceased's family, to all his friends and his media family, both in his country, Tunisia and abroad, His hearty condolences and sincere compassion following the passing of this renowned journalist, known for his great professionalism, for decades, and who has devoted most of his articles and columns to African issues, while defending in a determined manner the values of democracy, freedom and openness.
Affirming to share the feelings of the deceased's family following this cruel loss, HM the King prayed God to grant them patience and comfort, to fully reward the deceased for his good deeds and to welcome him among the virtuous servants.
