HM The King Receives In Marrakech Jack Lang
HM King Mohammed VI received, on Thursday at the Marrakech royal palace, Jack Lang, president of the Arab World Institute (IMA) in Paris.
HM the King underlined, on this occasion, IMA's positive contribution as a major actor to bring closer France and the Arab World culturally, a statement by the royal office said.
During this audience, Jack Lang informed HM the King of the preparation under way to hold in the French capital an important event dubbed "Morocco in thousand colors" dedicated to Moroccan contemporary arts. This main event, to be organized with the support of HM the King and the president of France, will celebrate the richness of the Moroccan culture.
HM the King reiterated during this audience the huge interest he takes in the success of this event, as he does for promising initiatives of artistic creation in all its forms, given that they are a vehicle of Morocco's human development.
Jack Lang paid tribute to HM the King for his involvement and benevolence regarding the preservation of the Moroccan cultural heritage and artistic creation.
The audience was attended by the Ambassador of France in Morocco Charles Fries and the advisors of HM the King Taieb Fassi Fihri and Fouad Ali El Himma.
