Throne Day: HM the King Receives Best Wishes of Royal Armed Forces

HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, received, on Wednesday at the officers' mess hall of the Royal Guard in Tetouan, Lieutenant-General Abdelfattah Louarak, Inspector general of FAR, who presented to the Sovereign a message of best wishes and loyalty from the officers, non-commissioned officers and servicemen of the Royal Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of HM the King's ascension to the throne of his glorious ancestors.

HM the King was then greeted by the tops of the class of major paramilitary and military institutes and schools.

On this occasion, HM the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), offered a luncheon, chaired by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, in honor of the guests.

The event was attended by the head of government, the speakers of the two houses of parliament, HM the King's advisors, government members, high-ranking officers of FAR general staff, foreign military attachés accredited to Rabat, as well as several civil and military figures.

Upon his arrival at the officers' mess hall, HM the King was greeted by Lieutenant General Abdelfattah Louarak and Colonel Major Abdelkader Mouaafi, delegate garrison commander for Tetouan-Chefchaouen.

Afterwards, the Sovereign reviewed a detachment of the FAR General Staff headquarters that paid the honors, and was greeted by head of government Saad Eddine El Othmani, minister delegate for national defense administration Abdellatif Loudiyi, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Haramou, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Major General Mimoun Mansouri, Commander of the Royal Guard, and Major General Mohammed Berrid, head of the third Bureau of FAR general staff.
