El Consejo Nacional del RNI expresa la disposición del partido a participar en el próximo Gobierno

The National Council of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), meeting Saturday in an extraordinary session in Rabat, expressed the party’s readiness to participate in the next government, delegating to its president, Mohamed Chouki, the management of this participation "according to what the national interest requires."

Despite the decline recorded compared with the previous election, the results obtained by the party in the September 23 elections constitute a clear and tangible expression of the political strength of the RNI, which has all the assets ensuring its resilience, continuity and ability to draw lessons, the party’s National Council said in a statement concluding the proceedings of this extraordinary session.

The RNI National Council also expressed its great pride in the "positive record of the party during the last government term, and the scale of structural reforms that have established a Morocco of dignity, fairness and equal opportunities."

The political report, presented by the party’s president, Mohamed Chouki, stressed that this dynamic of reforms, carried out in an extremely complex national and international context, reflects the efficiency of government choices and commitment to political responsibility.

It also demonstrates, according to the same report, the country’s ability to turn challenges into opportunities, continue consolidating its gains and strengthen its competitiveness and its standing among nations.

According to the statement, this session is of major organizational and political importance, as it is being held in a particular national context marked by the latest legislative elections, which constituted a new stage in the process of consolidating democratic development. The party took part in this electoral process with unwavering political determination, putting forward an ambitious party program that prioritized issues of national interest and responded to citizens’ aspirations, in accordance with the High Royal Orientations.

The Council also welcomed, the same source added, the positive climate in which the 2026 legislative elections took place, as well as their significant scope, which further consolidates the continuation of the democratic choice process led under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The RNI National Council began its proceedings with the presentation by Chouki of the political report, in which he addressed the main developments shaping Morocco’s political, economic and social scene, reviewing the party’s positions on current international issues and regional challenges, based on the Kingdom’s constants and supreme interests.

After highlighting the specificity and sensitivity of this political stage, which requires continued internal mobilization, as well as the results achieved by the party in the latest elections, the Council reiterated its deep pride in the successes of Royal diplomacy, welcoming the successive international recognitions of the Moroccan character of the Sahara and of the autonomy plan as the only credible, serious and realistic solution for a definitive settlement of this artificial dispute.

Furthermore, the RNI National Council extended its congratulations to the leadership and activists of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) on coming first in the latest legislative elections, affirming its respect for the will of voters and the results of the ballot boxes. Council members also congratulated Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri on the High Royal Trust placed in her on the occasion of her appointment as Head of Government.
