Bouaida Meets With Speaker Of National Assembly Of Burkina Faso

  Minister-delegate for foreign affairs and cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida, met Tuesday in Rabat, with speaker of the National Assembly of Burkina Faso, Soungala Apollinaire Ouattara, who is on a current visit to Morocco, on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

 At a press briefing after the meeting, the Burkinabe official praised the exemplary and dynamic bilateral cooperation, welcoming Morocco's support for the development effort in Burkina Faso.

   Bouaida who praised, for her part, "the role of Burkina Faso in the management of the Sahel-Saharan crisis," said the meeting was an opportunity to "suggest the holding of a first economic forum between our two countries soon in Ouagadougou."

   The minister highlighted the excellent political relations between Morocco and Burkina Faso, which reflect the relations of mutual respect between HM the King and President Blaise Compaoré.

   Welcoming the position of Burkina Faso on the Moroccan Sahara and its constant support for the Moroccaness of the southern provinces, Bouaida recalled the Burkinabe support for the Moroccan Sahara autonomy initiative.
