EPP President Calls for Stronger Partnership with Morocco

President of the European People's Party (EPP) Donald Tusk called on Monday for a stronger partnership with Morocco.

"Morocco has been a reliable partner to the EU in several areas, it is crucial to maintain an open dialogue to build an even stronger partnership going forward," Tusk wrote on his Facebook page at the end of a meeting, held at the party's headquarters in Brussels, with the Moroccan ambassador to the EU, Ahmed Rahhou.

"This morning, I met with Ambassador Ahmed Rahhou, Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco to the EU. Among other things, we discussed the EU-Morocco partnership, regional challenges, COVID-19 and its impact on the Moroccan economy, as well as EU-Africa relations," he added.
