MAP, ISIC Sign Partnership Agreement to Develop Professional Skills in Information Sector

A partnership agreement was signed Monday in Rabat between the Moroccan news agency (MAP) and the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) to develop professional skills in the information sector and institutionalize cooperation between the two sides in the area of training.

Inked by MAP Director General Khalil Hachimi Idrissi and ISIC Director Abdelmajid Fadil, the agreement will enable MAP, as a major national information institution, to get involved in the training of ISIC student journalists, while ISIC will strengthen its openness to the professional environment through cooperation with MAP.

This agreement cooperation is also aimed at easing the professional immersion of ISIC students in MAP and enhancing the training of student journalists.

Speaking on this occasion, Hachimi Idrissi said that the agreement, which will give new impetus to the partnership between the two institutions, provides the basis of a fruitful cooperation between the two sides.

The agreement opens up new horizons for ISIC students in order to support the development of the national media landscape, he said.

For his part, ISIC Director underscored the importance of this initiative which will develop the historical relations binding the two institutions.

This agreement will enable ISIC students to benefit from MAP's media expertise and professionalism, through training, he said.
