Morocco, Chad For Strengthening Social Housing Partnership

The Moroccan and Chadian Ministries of territory development signed, Wednesday in Rabat, a partnership agreement to develop social housing.
Under this agreement, initialled by territory development ministers, Moroccan Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah and Chadian Paul Mbainodoum Ngartelbaye, the parties commit to promoting social housing cooperation, and sharing know-how, expertise, information and good practice in land development and urbanism.
It also provides for holding meetings between bodies specialized in building and real estate development as engineering companies, professional federations and associations in the private and public sectors from both countries, in addition to sharing viewpoints regarding the institutional, legislative and operational aspects of urban planning.
Speaking on the occasion, Benabdallah stated that through this agreement, Morocco and Chad pledge to foster cooperation in the field of housing, underlining that the Kingdom will do its best to guarantee decent and affordable housing in Chad.
