Morocco, Spain Sign Cooperation Agreement On Rural Schools Environmental Upgrading
Morocco and Spain signed, on Tuesday in Rabat, a cooperation agreement on the environmental upgrading of rural schools in the Souss-Massa-Draa region.
The agreement seeks to reinforce the national program for the environmental upgrading of rural schools and particularly the implementation of the project of slashing the dropout rate in rural school in the Souss-Massa-Draa region.
In this regard, a 554,182 euros-financial subsidy was granted to the ministry in charge of water by the Spanish International Cooperation Agency For Development (AECID) to fund actions and operations targeting the schools in the said region.
The signing ceremony was chaired jointly by minister delegate for water Charafat Afilal and Spain's ambassador in Rabat José de Carvajal.
