Thanks To HM The King' Firm Attitude, Morocco Won New Victory In Sahara Issue, Argentinean Political Pundit

Thanks to the firm attitude of HM King Mohammed VI, Morocco won a new victory in the Sahara issue, following the adoption, last week, by the UN Security Council of a new resolution extending the Minurso mandate one more year, without modifying its prerogatives, said Argentinean political scientist Adalberto Carlos Agozino.
The Security council headed the warning sent, on April 12th by HM the King to the United Nations, by extending the Minurso mandate one more year without modifying its prerogatives, the Argentinean political analyst said in an article on the latest developments of the Moroccan Sahara issue, published, on Sunday, by Argentinean news agency "Totalnews".
Recalling the role of Algeria in creating the polisario, professor Agozino deemed that the persistence of the regional conflict over the Moroccan Sahara is "a major hindrance for Maghreb integration and the establishment of a zone of prosperity and security in North Africa".
For the author of "Geopolitics of Sahara and Sahel", the biggest beneficiaries of this situation are the separatists who proclaimed themselves representatives of a population that was not asked its opinion and held captive in the camps of "misery" in Tindouf, south-western Algeria, far from their homeland, Morocco.
