The Italy-Morocco Permanent Legal and Economic Forum was officially launched on Friday in Rovigo, northern Italy, bringing together institutional delegations, legal experts and business leaders from both countries.
The platform aims to structure a stable space for exchanges around several strategic areas, such as regular and skilled mobility between the two shores of the Mediterranean and vocational training in countries of origin, the forum’s president, Kaoutar Badrane, said during the launch ceremony of this ambitious project under the theme "Skills, a Bridge between Italy and Morocco."
For her part, Deputy Prosecutor at the Venice Public Prosecutor’s Office, Sonia Sommacal, welcomed the launch of a "structured and concrete" program capable of consolidating bilateral cooperation not only in the legal and economic fields, but also in several other areas.
On this occasion, Morocco’s Consul General in Verona, Hasnae Halim, stressed that the launch of this permanent forum reflects the common will of both countries to build solid bridges of institutional cooperation in the legal and economic fields.
For his part, Italian Senator Bartolomeo Amidei welcomed this initiative aimed at consolidating legal and economic cooperation between two countries driven by the same determination to develop their partnership within a framework of mutual respect.
The launch ceremony of this permanent forum was attended by several legal experts from both sides, as well as several Moroccan and Italian figures from various fields.
