HM The King Has Always Paid Heed That Peace Establishment Does Not Take Place At The Expense Of Al Quds Asharif, FM

HM King Mohammed VI, chairman of the Al Quds committee, has always paid heed that peace establishment does not take place at the expense of the Al Quds Asharif, said foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar.

In an interview issued by Asharq Al Awsat daily on Monday, Mezouar said that the upcoming Al Quds committee meeting, slated in Marrakech, takes place in a decisive political juncture in the Middle East, which requires vigilance and caution to avoid any potential concession over the Islamic identity of Al Quds which Israel wants to wipe out, while we are talking about reviving talks between Israel and the Palestinian authority, under the UN aegis.

He underlined that the Al Quds committee is a clear message to the international community so that it shoulders its responsibilities, force Israel to stop its illegal colonization and provoking acts, and make it respond favorably to the new talks dynamic under way.
